For best results never overload the brush with paint, use thicker paints and apply to the end of the brush only. Remove excess paint onto a paper towel and apply to the stencil in a swirling movement or up and down (stippling) movement. Keep the brush at a 90 degree angle to the stencil.

I bought the brush and stencil. They arrived on time and well packed. Used online information to choose type of paint and how to do it tutorial. My test on paper came out well but will do a could more before using on my bathroom wall.

Lovely, quality item beautifully wrapped. As this was a large stencil completed in stages to a particular shape option the (visual) instructions could have been printed far bolder showing which areas were to be painted and which avoided. They were very small, fine and pale barely differentiating the areas. Reversing the pattern made it harder still. It was otherwise such a fantastic and well thought out stencil. It would have been perfect if they were printed larger and bolder. Don’t let that put you off - myself and my 11 year old daughter did it fine! We corrected a couple of mistakes and the results are beautiful. Brushes also v nice quality.
Very handy
Just the right size for the stencils I was using. Makes it easy to use on small area and avoid smudges and smears from overloading the brush with too much paint.
These brushes create an excellent finish
I haven't used proper stencil brushes because I thought you could get a good result with other sorts of brushes. WRONG!!! These give your strumming a professional look. A jolly good investment.
