great product and ordering experience
Easy to use, easy to line up the pattern for repeats. The stencil was well packaged for overseas mail - arrived flat and undamaged. Website is straightforward to navigate, online ordering process was simple to follow, and the package was dispatched promptly. Overall great experience.
Leaf Trellis
This stencil was perfect for a 'first timer' like me. The repeat made it reasonably easy to use and the pattern quite forgiving and very well designed. Tips for other first timers... Stand back and look at the whole picture not just the bit you've just done. Because this stencil is so forgiving it's easy to touch up afterwards to hide any mistakes that to be honest no one else would see. Also if doing a larger area I would buy more than one stencil to line up a few at a time. Overall this stencil was just perfect for what I needed.
Great Leaf trellis stencil
The stencil was excellent and used it for the whole room. Took a few days to do but the room looks fantastic and I used size medium. The stencil arrived very quickly and I would use Stencil Studio again. I used Farrow and Ball Light Blue for the stencil and the walls were painted Dulux Natural Calico.
Lovely leaf trellis stencil!
I'm very happy with the leaf trellis stencil! I have stencilled a feature wall in the bedroom, it took a while but we'll worth the effort. The wallpaper I wanted was so expensive and this is easily as pretty!
A Really Lovely Design Stencil - Great Results!
I was struggling to find some wallpaper to go with curtains in one of our bedrooms. In the end I chose the Leaf Trellis Repeat stencil in Medium size. I found the stencil was really easy to use, and had plenty of duplicate sections, to make it easy to align for the repeats. It took a bit of time as you do need to be quite accurate so that the pattern doesn't skew off, but the results were well worth it I think. I used the FrogTape Delicate Masking Tape (yellow roll) which worked really well - and I used 2 x strips on each side which held the stencil securely, especially with the fiddly bits! I just used a mini gloss roller (the solid foam ones), and took the excess off on a piece of kitchen roll after applying more paint to the roller. For info, for the stencilling I used F&B Hardwick White, which is painted over Homebase Fresh Linen, below the dado rail is F&B Hardwick White. For the corners and any awkward sections, I made sure I did those with a clean stencil rather than with the stencil with dried paint on it at the end of a session. This meant that the stencil was nice and flexible. It's really easy to clean the emulsion paint off the stencil at the end of a session - I just sat the stencil in warm soapy water for a few minutes then very gently used a soft sponge to clean the paint off, and it came up looking like new every time. I found that you do need to be careful that you don't snag any pointed sections of the stencil on the sponge.
